Your complete photoshoot gallery will be held up to one year from the date of your shoot, should you wish
to place any additional edit orders in that time.
Please arrive on time for your session to ensure that you do not miss shooting time - your session will end promptly at the end of your time slot so I may begin preparing for my next appointment.
Makeup: You may prepare a light face of makeup that complements your features (no unnatural colors or stark eyeliner.) Basic cosmetic
corrections such as toning and blemish removal will be provided for you in the editing process. Refrain from using lotion on the face, as this can create shining and clipping in your photos.
Your photos will be edited to authentically reflect your appearance, but please let me know if you have specific features of concern that you would like to minimize and we can discuss the most appropriate way to achieve that. Directors and agents will be seeking a photo that genuinely reflects who they will cast for stage and screen; photos that are too heavily edited against your true appearance could negatively impact your casting.
Hair: it is recommended to wear your hair loose, with no ties or large clips; this will allow
your hair to be seen in its natural length and fullness.
Clothing: Solid colors and subtle patterns
work best; large patterns or shiny/glittery fabrics can result in a distracting photograph. If you are unsure, feel free to bring a few options to confirm. Avoid any clothing with identifiers, such as logos or flags. Minimal/No jewelry would be best, but small stud earrings (no large or dangling pieces) will be appropriate. Click here to view a guide on best clothing options.
For your convenience, a changing tent will be available to use at your session.
Style: You might consider diversifying the styles of your clothing options to reflect different moods, such
as a warm, friendly piece for an upbeat headshot and a darker, more solid piece for a neutral headshot. This will increase your photo options to choose from, and allow you to consider photos that reflect you in a variety of ways,
to fully represent your capabilities in light-hearted roles as well as more dramatic performances.
Printing: I am in touch with multiple high-quality headshot printers that I regularly use for my prints. Please ask for a quote if you would like me to handle printing; I will collect your mailing address and have your desired print quantity shipped directly to you.
